Niña and Pinta are Units, our transmitter/encoders with four mobile modems already inside. Anything that sends SRT or RTMP already works: a phone, OBS or any transmitter/encoder works with Lumbus Studio, and your own transmitter/encoder can use Lumbus SIMs and Lumbus Connect too. Lumbus SIMs go in streaming hardware, never in a phone.

Step 2: Where do you stream?

SIM prices depend on where you stream, so this comes before any figure. Countries are grouped into zones, and one allowance works in every country in its zone.

Step 3: Multi-network SIMs (4G/5G)

SIMs for your Unit, on several networks at once. They come fitted in your Unit, or are sent to you for the streaming box you already own — they do not go in a phone. Skip this if you stream over Wi-Fi, a network cable, Starlink or SIMs you already have.

Step 4: How many connections at once?

Lumbus Connect uses two or more connections at the same time as one, so when one network weakens the others carry your stream. With just one at a time, you do not need it. Count the connections running at the same time, not the ones you own.

Niña streams through Lumbus Connect on every stream, one connection or ten — the starter in the box is in use from your first stream. On Pinta and Admiral, one connection streams without Lumbus Connect; two or more go through it. Niña bonds up to 8 connections at once, Pinta 10, Admiral 13.

Every Niña and Pinta includes a 100 GB starter bonding allowance for Lumbus Connect, valid for three months — enough to set up, test and run your first bonded streams. Lumbus Connect is used when combining two or more connections, and on Niña for every stream. The SIM allowance is sold separately.

Lumbus Connect bonding allowances are bought in packs, not monthly. Each pack has an allowance and a validity, and you buy the next one when you need it. If a pack runs out mid-stream you get a 20 GB bonding allowance free, so you can finish and buy your next pack — nothing is cut off.

The estimates here assume 8 Mbps with bonding overhead. Lumbus Connect counts what passes through it: the bonded stream coming in, plus every copy going out — each destination you send to, a live preview you keep open, and any recording you pull from the receiving service. Bonding more connections does not add to it; more destinations do. With Lumbus Studio as the destination, all your platforms count as one.

Step 5: Lumbus Studio

Your stream’s control room online. If your signal drops, viewers see “Be right back” instead of a frozen picture, and it switches back to Live by itself. It sends your stream to Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok and more at once, and you run it from your phone. Works with your phone or OBS too, and you can stream without it.

Studio recordings are kept for up to 14 days. Studio Pro recordings are kept for up to 30 days. If storage fills before the retention period ends, recording pauses until files are removed or more storage is added. The live stream continues.
