An IRL streaming backpack is really four things: a transmitter/encoder, the modems that get it online, a battery, and something to carry it in. A Lumbus Unit has the four modems built in and the bag in the price, so the rig on your belt is the Unit, your camera and your phone.
What you carry.
- The Unit: Niña (580 g, about 4 hours internal (50 wh)) or Pinta (about 2 hours internal, external battery supported), in the Lumbus belt pack.
- Your camera: any HDMI camera or a USB action camera on Niña; SDI or HDMI on Pinta. Cameras are not included.
- Your phone: the Lumbus Live app runs your studio and shows every connection, what it has used and what is left of your SIM allowance.
- SIMs: Lumbus SIMs, fitted when you order with a SIM allowance, or your own.
- Nothing else. Four mobile modems built in. No separate modem kit. The bag is in the price, and never a separate product.

When the signal goes.
On the move, the weak moment is in a crowd or between masts: upload collapses on one network while another is fine. A Unit on several networks at once, with Lumbus Connect using them as one stream, carries on over the connections that are still good.
And when every connection goes, Lumbus Studio keeps every platform connected and shows viewers Be right back instead of a frozen frame — then returns to Live by itself once your signal has held. Studio is optional and monthly, from $99 a month.

- Every Niña and Pinta includes a 100 GB starter bonding allowance for Lumbus Connect, valid for three months — enough to set up, test and run your first bonded streams. Lumbus Connect is used when combining two or more connections, and on Niña for every stream. The SIM allowance is sold separately.
Questions
Is the bag included?
Yes, and it never has a price. Niña and Pinta ship with the Lumbus belt pack; Admiral ships with the Lumbus backpack. Neither is a separate product, an accessory line or an upsell at checkout.
How long does the battery last?
About 4 hours on Niña, about 2 on Pinta and more than 4 on Admiral. Pinta and Admiral can also run from an external battery.

Do I need a separate modem kit?
No. Niña and Pinta already have four mobile modems built in.
Can I put a Lumbus SIM in my phone?
No. Lumbus SIMs are made for streaming hardware — they go in a Unit or another transmitter/encoder, not in a phone. If you stream from a phone today, keep the data plan you already pay for and add Lumbus Studio; Lumbus SIMs come later, with the Unit.
