Lumbus Connect combines two or more connections into one reliable stream. When one network weakens, the others carry your stream. On Niña it carries every stream; on Pinta and Admiral, only when you use two or more connections at once.

- The 100 GB in the box
- Every Niña and Pinta includes a 100 GB starter bonding allowance for Lumbus Connect, valid for three months — enough to set up, test and run your first bonded streams. Lumbus Connect is used when combining two or more connections, and on Niña for every stream. The SIM allowance is sold separately. The included bonding allowance’s three months run from your first Lumbus Connect sign-in on the Unit — on Niña that is your first stream, on Pinta the first time you combine connections. Your Unit ships pre-addressed to your studio without that sign-in, so nothing starts until you do.
- Packs
- Lumbus Connect bonding allowances are bought in packs, not monthly. Each pack has an allowance and a validity, and you buy the next one when you need it. Packs are prepaid and expire on the validity shown. A bonding allowance is not a SIM allowance.
- If a pack runs out
- If a pack runs out mid-stream you get a 20 GB bonding allowance free, so you can finish and buy your next pack — nothing is cut off.
- Your Lumbus Connect sign-in
- Your Lumbus Connect bonding allowance comes with its own sign-in, shown in your dashboard with where to enter it. You enter it on the Unit once — on Niña before your first stream, on Pinta and Admiral the first time you combine connections — or on your own hardware. Your balance lives with that sign-in; the Lumbus app and dashboard do not show it. Packs are bought from Plan & add-ons on the web.

Picture quality as a bitrate: Basic 4 Mbps · Standard 6 Mbps · HD 8 Mbps · Sharper HD 12 Mbps · 4K 20 Mbps. As a guide: about 8 Mbps for 1080p, about 20 Mbps for 4K.
Your connections carry 4.3 GB an hour: 8 Mbps × 1.2 for bonding overhead, then × 4 h × 14 days = 242 GB.

Your data allowance includes the traffic used to protect your stream, such as bonding overhead and retransmissions. Actual usage depends on bitrate, network quality and redundancy settings.
Lumbus Connect counts what passes through it: the bonded stream coming in, plus every copy going out — each destination you send to, a live preview you keep open, and any recording you pull from the receiving service. Bonding more connections does not add to it; more destinations do. With Lumbus Studio as the destination, all your platforms count as one.
The 100 GB in the box is a starter: sending to one destination it covers about 55 GB of streaming through Lumbus Connect (every stream on Niña; bonded streams on Pinta and Admiral) — roughly 13 hours at 8 Mbps — enough to set up, test and run your first streams.
